Gampro staff are trained in gambling treatment and prevention, mental health, and addiction recovery issues and employ culturally appropriate methods. Best practice techniques such as empathic engagement, motivation for change, assessing stages of change and stages of treatment are used. We also encourage clients to build a social network that offers respect, acceptance and appreciation through the inclusion of family and significant others in treatment and through the use of GA or GA-ANON.
